Screen Printing who needs it

All we see and hear is companies adding new wide format equipment. Does any one agree that there is still a need for good quality screen printing. Or are the days of screen printing numbered.

I think that screen printing will still be around for a long time yet, there are times when digital print cannot compete price & time wise with screen printing (large quantites that are printed only 1 or 2 colours)

Also all the special effect inks like spot UV in matt & gloss, fluorescent. Screen print gives a good life span over a number of years. Finishing on long runs is less time consuming when screen printed.

We just bought a digital direct to garment printer to use when it's either too few to screen print, too many colors on a small quantity or personalization of a screen printed order such as name and number on jerseys.
