Why SIGN CHINA?
 China’s total advertising expenditure jumped 13.5 percent to US$74 billion last year, according to CTR Marketing Research. In particular, outdoor media grew 9% in 2009.
 It is the largest sign event for the global industry for the first half year showcasing the latest technologies and products.
 Featuring the most comprehensive exhibit scope spanning the entire industry supply chain,
SIGN CHINA 2010 gathered over 1,000 exhibitors (95% were manufacturers) and attracted trade buyers from 118 countries and regions.
 Best venue -Pazhou Complex is highly-modernized and the largest exhibition center in Asia.
 Guangzhou is one of top three cities in China, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, with convenient transport links and a favorable business environment.

Organiser
UBM Asia Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of United Business Media Limited (UBM), announced that it has formed a Sino-foreign joint venture, UBM Trust Co., Ltd., with the organiser of SIGN CHINA, Trust Exhibition Co., Ltd., to jointly develop the event.

Over 6,500 staff in around 30 countries in North- and South America, Europe and Asia are organised into specialist teams that serve 300 exhibitions worldwide every year, including world’s largest-scale events, such as Furniture, Jewellery, Leather, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Boat, etc.
Now organised by UBM Trust, SIGN CHINA can tap on UBM’s extensive global reach and professional show management expertise to serve exhibitors and visitors even better.

Achievements in the 2010 Edition
70,000 sqm in exhibition space, 7% increase from 2009
1,006 exhibiting companies, 24% increase from 2009
7,150 overseas visitors from 118 countries/regions, 29% increase over 2009
42,524 domestic visitors from all across the country, 5% increase over 2009

68% exhibitors launched new products at the show
75% exhibitors achieved their objective of brand-building
83% exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of visitors and services of the organiser
71% exhibitors plan to participate again in 2011

83% visitors gave the show an overall satisfaction rating of over 70% or more
85% visitors were pleased with the quality of the exhibitors and the scope of exhibits

• Worldwide leading printer manufacturer Océ participated in SIGN CHINA for the first time and enjoyed good results. Ms Wang, Marketing Executive, said “We received 4 to 5 on-site orders for our high-end equipment valued at over 2 million RMB each. We will continue to support this fair in future.”

• Mr. Jinho Lee, the CEO of SM Media Group in Korea, said “Visitors from Korea were pleasantly surprised to find that SIGN CHINA has the most international attendance and the largest number of overseas attendees compared to other shows in China.”

• Vice President of ESF (European Sign Federation), Mr. Luc Steegmans, extended his congratulations on the success of the show “This is a very successful event! We are very pleased that Guangzhou also has a trading platform that is comparable with other large-scale international exhibitions in the world.”
