Am on vacation. I might post the odd story next week beside a crackling log fire with a large glass of Rioja, but don't hold your breath.

Membership continues to thrive

It's so great to see the numbers gradually rising here on this community site. It's a really pleasing thing to see. When we set it up last year it was always our intention to allow the community to organically grow, and seeing over 500 or so members is great. Posted on August 12, 2010 at 9:50am 0 Comments

Seeing as it's the holiday season I am forward planning for September and am looking for contributors who can write me a short 500 word opinion on... well pretty much anything you like but so long as it's to do with wide format printing. That's why I call the section 'Your Shout' because that's exactly what it is. A chance for you to have your shout out to the world. Please email your opinions, commentary, thoughts etc. to me at newsdesk@graphicdisplayworld.com

Thanks,
Col

Hi Collin

Business in Australia is generally good. It is the same old story out there many of the Sign Industry people are so busy they are struggling to keep up with the work and others are really doing it tough. There does not seem to be any even ground.
I am the GM of Visual Industries Suppliers Association here in a Australia and we represent all the Suppliers in the Sign, Engraving, Sign and Graphic Ins=dustries. Our members and committee are made up of the larger players like Roland, HO, Epson, Mutoh and down to the smaller suppliers representing manufacturers from all pver the world. Learn more about us on www.visa.org.au

Thanks Colin. I am passionate about the WF industry, even somewhat opinionated :) I was introduced to this resource by a good friend and the publisher of a magazine I contribute to, I'm happy to be here though.
