He has some valuable experience for all to share I think
On monday were going to go through the settings which he has explained already and I should be able to sey up this connection then
I'll keep you updated, I've also located a tekkie in Ireland that can possibly help too
So its coming together

Finished work and time for tea ! I was just printing a sign for a beauticians shop. We did the signage and frosting to the windows and the last of it will be a printed "Now Open" for the road. I have a mutoh 1204 valujet. When it was setup by the tekkies they connected it to the computer by USB
Turns out that this is not the recommended way and that it should be connected by internet type network. So after my USB connection failed this afternoon I was trying to connect it via modem. Couldnt suss it out . got some of the way but didnt manage to get it to print yet. Looks like the beauticians will be waiting fot their sign after all !!
But seriously I was compaining on this forum before about the sales and tech team that I bought from
They should really have connected it correctly in the first place and not had me loosing hours and being frustrated 2 years down the road
OK rant over
