This year the Sign & Digital show looks set to provide the perfect platform for commercial printers who are looking to broaden their service offering and have been thinking of investing in wide format printing. For those of you who didn’t make it out to the FESPA Digital show in Barcelona, the Sign & Digital show offers UK printers a chance to meet many of the wide format sectors principle players and to get to grips with much of the kit.
Prices start at around £5,000 for a table top model such as Roland’s BN20 print and cut device, but for a decent roll fed, entry level wide format inkjet production printer that can produce canvas prints, banners, vehicle wraps, pop up displays, posters etc. you should cap your budget at around £35,000.
